General Class Information
Class samples are on display at the store. Stop by and take a look!
Beginners welcome! Most of our classes are appropriate for beginners, but we also offer more challenging projects for those who are ready to move ahead! These heart codes will help you decide which classes are right for you!
Beginner: No experience required
Intermediate: Some bead weaving experience
Advanced: Experienced bead weavers
Class size is limited. Payment is required at sign-up to guarantee a space in the class. Many classes fill quickly so sign up early! No refunds. Most classes have a supply list, so please make sure you have the necessary materials prior to the start of your class. Unless a kit is included with a class, the class price does not include materials or supplies. Discounts do not apply to class kits.
Friend special: Take a scheduled class with a friend (or more) and you each get $5 off the class price!
Saturday special: A great idea for "out-of-towners"!
Take back-to-back classes on one Saturday and get $5 off each class and a $5 in-store credit!

The Bead Cage offers a wide variety of classes for every skill level. We work very hard to bring you new and exciting projects each month.
We are proud to say that our instructors teach their own designs. Some are nationally recognized artists who spend lots of time dreaming up new designs that are unique to our shop!
Some of our classes fill fast, so it's best to sign up early. Often we keep a waiting list and add another date, so check the store or our home page for updates on added classes.

KITE PENDANT
Thursday, August 5 • 6-8pm • $30 • Instructor: Julie
If you are wanting to take the plunge and begin using the needle and thread, this pattern is for you! Pretty but you can wear this with anything.
CHOPPER CHAIN BRACELET
Saturday, August 7 • 10-noon • $30 • Instructor: Carole
This may look complicated, but it really isn’t! Using square stitch and a little embellishment, you will be rocking these heavy metals in no time! This project is designed for metals, but feel free to use glass bead if you like.
THINGS THAT GO BUMP
Saturday, August 14 • 10am-noon • $30 • Instructor: Jann
Combine tubular herringbone and different sizes of beads to create this fun ‘bumpy’ bracelet.
LUSH LADDER
Thursday, August 19 • 6-8pm • $30 • Instructor: Julie
Dress this beaded ladder up or down with 4mm cubes and as many crystals as you see fit. Can be worn to work, and out to dinner afterward.
BAROQUE PENDANT
Saturday, August 21 • 10-noon • $30 • Instructor: Jann
Pearls, crystals, and seed beads are used to create this elegant pendant that can be worn on a metal chain or beaded necklace.
NEW ROMANCE
Saturday, August 21 • 1-3pm • $35 • Instructor: Cindy
Come and learn the basics to wire wrapping plus a lot of tips to make wire working a breeze. While learning the basics you will also make this pretty necklace in any color combo to represent any season or holiday you like. You can use sterling silver wire if you like but a deposit of $17 will be needed when signing up, this cost may go up or down on the day of the class depending on the silver cost at the time of the class.

Deb Roberti does beautiful designs, and this one is beautiful AND easier than it looks! Learn an easy version of Ndebele! This is a great way to learn pattern-reading, as her instructions are very well written.

BASICS: PEYOTE STITCH

Learn the basics of peyote and make simply beautiful band using tiny cubes. Learning with cubes makes this a breeze!
DAISY CHAIN PENDANT
Thursday, September 9 • 6-8pm • $30 • Instructor: Julie
Looking for a simple, elegant chain for that lampwork bead? This basic daisy chain can be dressed up with 3mm crystals to complement the lampwork bead or pendant of your choice!
SPIRAL ELEGANCE NECKLACE
Saturday, September 11 • 10am-noon • $30 • Instructor: Jann
The simple and versatile spiral stitch can be made using many different combinations of beads, with dramatically different results. In this class you will weave this elegant graduated spiral necklace using seed beads, firepolish, crystals and pearls.
POKEBERRY LINK BRACELET
Saturday, September 11 • 1-3pm • $35 • Instructor: Cindy
Let's play with fire and make this cute and very unique bracelet. You will learn to make these links while using a torch and then you will learn how to assemble them together. You can then take your skills that you learn in class and make another bracelet for your ankle to match the one on your wrist. A deposit of $15 will be required when signing up for this class, this cost may go up or down on the day of the class depending on the silver cost at the time of the class).
LOVE CHAIN

You won’t need to search long for the focal for this class! Terri will have her beads for show and sale starting at 10 am. and you will be set for this class at 1pm! This is a fun pattern for any season.
SEALED WITH A KISS
Thursday, September 23 • 5:30-7:30pm • $30 • Instructor: Jann
Weave glass pearls into a series of ‘hugs’, then top it off with a seed bead and crystal ‘kiss’ in this elegant variation of the hugs and kisses bracelet. You won’t believe how easy it is to make!
STRANDED
Saturday, September 25 • 1-3pm • $30 • Instructor: Julie
This necklace offers an organic look and feel just in time for the Fall season. A great design to use odds and ends of seed beads if you desire. Fibers will be added to give this an extra earthy feel.
