Save a life - Know the signs of STROKE:

  1. Ask the person to SMILE
  2. Ask the person to TALK and to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (i.e. - It is sunny out today)
  3. Ask the person to RAISE BOTH ARMS.

You can remember the above questions to ask the person by the first three letters of the word STRoke:

Another 'sign' of a stroke is this:

Ask the person to 'stick out' their tongue. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other, that is also an indication of a stroke.
